How we report, and why it matters.
DDG does not accept money from the companies it covers. Every company, operator, and product in our coverage is assessed on the same editorial terms. Our coverage cannot be bought, shaped, or suppressed by commercial relationships.
Sources and verification
All factual claims are drawn from public sources: regulatory filings, published company announcements, official government documents, peer-reviewed research, and on-the-record statements. We do not publish claims based solely on anonymous sources or unverifiable assertions.
Where we report figures — delivery volumes, range specifications, payload capacities — we link to or cite the primary source. Where figures are estimated or calculated from available data, we say so explicitly.
What we cover and how
- We cover operators, manufacturers, regulators, and airspace technology companies active in the commercial drone delivery sector
- Coverage decisions are made editorially, not commercially. Inclusion in our directory or article coverage cannot be purchased
- We distinguish between news reporting (what happened), analysis (what it means), and opinion (what we think). These are labelled clearly
- We do not publish press releases verbatim. All coverage is independently written
What we do not do
DDG does not display advertising. We do not accept sponsored content, native advertising, or paid placement of any kind. We do not participate in affiliate programmes. There are no financial relationships between DDG and the companies we cover.
- We do not accept payment for coverage, directory listings, or favourable treatment in analysis
- We do not embargo content on behalf of companies seeking to control the timing of coverage
- We do not allow sources to review or approve content before publication
- We do not publish financial projections, forecasts, or investment recommendations
Corrections
We are committed to accuracy and will correct errors promptly. If you believe something we have published is factually incorrect, contact us with the specific claim and the source you believe contradicts it. We will review all substantive correction requests and publish corrections where warranted. Corrections are noted on the original article.
Relationships with sources
DDG reporters may attend industry events, receive press releases, and conduct interviews with company representatives. These activities are standard journalism practice and do not create obligations of favourable coverage. No company has the right to review, approve, or suppress DDG coverage as a condition of access.
